The second phase of elections were held in 65 tehsils across 18 districts in KP. Out of the 30 tehsil councils which have reported results, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has reportedly won five and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won two seats, in addition to PTI's 13.
Awami National Party (ANP) has managed to secure two seats while Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) have won one seat each. Independent candidates have secured six seats, according to unofficial reports.
The local elections were held in Orakzai, Kurram, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Batgram, Torghar, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, Kolai, Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Chitral Upper and Chitral Lower districts.
Prime Minister Imran Khan heralded the PTI's early winnings, terming it an 'overwhelming success.'
'People of KP have emphatically rejected the traitors who sold out to foreign masters. This is an early warning to all traitors of what awaits them in their constituencies' the prime minister said.

During the voting, two people were reportedly killed while several more were injured in skirmishes at the polling stations.
During the first phase of local elections in December, the the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) won in 23 Tehsils and towns. The PTI came second with 19 seats, with independent candidates cinching nine seats.
