Let us start our conversation by asking ourselves a question; what do neutrality and pseudo-neutrality mean? In my extensive experience of three decades in semiconductor physics, I have encountered the concepts of neutrality and pseudo-neutrality. While I will not delve into the quantum physics intricacies here, I can provide a simplified definition.
If there are no positive or negative charges affecting a particular area, it is referred to as the neutral zone or region. Conversely, if both positive and negative charges have an equal impact on the area, it is known as the pseudo-neutral zone.
With that in mind, let’s now transition to Hollywood for a short period.
Following the triumph of the 1994 Stargate movie, five television shows were broadcast, all of which were inspired by the movie. The year 1994 saw the release of Stargate, an intriguing science fiction thriller from Hollywood. The story begins in 1928 in Giza, Egypt, where Professor Paul Langford, an archaeologist, makes an incredible find. Working together, the man and his daughter Catherine uncover cover stones that are adorned with Egyptian hieroglyphs and various markings of unknown objectives. Then, in 1994, the elderly Catherine invited Dr. Deniel Jackson, an Egyptologist and linguist, to translate the hieroglyphs. The stones are then part of a US Air Force classified project overseen by Special Operations Colonel Jack O'Neil. Jackson successfully interpreted the hieroglyphs and enlightened Catherine’s struggling team about their meaning, revealing that they relate to a “Stargate” that employs star constellations as spatial coordinates. He is then shown the Stargate, which is the ring found in Giza. The Catharine team used his coordinates. When all seven chevrons are properly aligned, a wormhole is activated, creating a connection between the Stargate and a planet far away, in a galaxy light-year away from our Milky Way Galaxy.
Against all expectations, the SiFi Stargate shows were incredibly popular. The first installment, SG-1, lasted for 10 years. No other science fiction shows on TV have been able to surpass that record. The theme of the movie was continued and expanded upon. In the television series, the Earth team discovers that the stargates were created by an ancient civilisation known as the Ancients millions of years ago. The highly evolved beings established connections among numerous planets that were conducive to human life. From that point on, the population was relocated from Earth to diverse planets, where they proceeded to establish new societies.
I am now transitioning from the realm of imagination to the real world.
In one of the episodes, Col O’Neil, now General O’Neil, and his SG-1 team, discovered the coordinates of a functioning Stargate in a distant galaxy. When they sent the probe, they found that the atmosphere was inhospitable to sustain human life. The ruined infrastructure, however, indicated a civilisation that might have vanished because of a natural catastrophe. Upon investigation, the probe found a dome, which, upon closer examination, revealed itself to be an energy field. It was effortless for the probe to penetrate the field. The field contained vibrant green meadows, trees, and an atmosphere that was highly suitable for human survival. Upon entering the dome, the SG-1 team realised that the trees, blue skies, and green meadows were nothing more than holographic illusions.
A little over 1,000 individuals called the dome their home. The members of the SG-1 team are greeted with great friendliness and a willingness to share technological advancements. It was conveyed to the team that this dome was constructed by their forefathers over 500 years ago. The team noticed that all residents of the dome wear a small device on their temples. According to them, this device serves as a link between their brains and computer memory, allowing them to maintain the dome that ensures their existence.
The team presented them with a new habitable planet where they could live in a real environment instead of the hologram, but they declined the offer. Nevertheless, the head scientist selected a team member to explain how the system operated. Before long, the team members noticed the dome’s gradual contraction. When they shared the info with the chief scientist, he refused to accept it.
Nevertheless, a few individuals among the population who were opposed to relocating to the new planet covertly rendezvoused with Gen. O’Neil. They confided in him their wish to join him, as they believed it would offer their families the chance to prosper in the real world.
Undeniable evidence uncovered by the SG-1 team revealed the dome was built half a millennium ago and accommodated a population exceeding 100,000 people. The dome could not support the action, causing it to shrink and leaving those outside to perish. To prevent any complexities of those who are cast out from the minds of living people.
When the evidence was shown, the team realised everyone was momentarily paralyzed. After that, the chief scientist forgot about his wife, who had been expelled from the dome the night before. Those who expressed a desire to leave the dome denied ever requesting help, as their memories had been erased.
To cut a long story short, the SG-1 team successfully persuaded the chief scientist to remove the device from his temple and see the truth. Utilising his unique abilities, he successfully broke the connection between the dome and the individuals, leading everyone to be open to considering the logical perspective. The team removed all individuals from the hologram and transported them to a planet suitable for human habitation.
I believe that by now, most of you grasp the intention of my narrative. Yes, it has a resemblance to the typical sights in Pakistan. Allow me the opportunity to create the projections through drawing.
When the military escalated the pressure, the system fought back with an enormous force. The system found its defenders among media spin masters, judges, and retired generals, who benefit from it, and they ensured its protection against any form of attack
The AI known as Khan reigns over the dome, with its inhabitants blindly supporting and enthusiastically cheering for him.
The creation of a society centered around celebrity obsession and governed by a figure called “the dome” has been a gradual process performed by Pakistan’s formidable Army over the years. This system primarily caters to individuals from privileged backgrounds. Being part of the elite class exempts them from the struggles of waking up at 5 am to provide for their families, shielding them from the impact of high inflation, soaring oil prices, power outages, and hefty utility bills. They desire to experience the freedom of driving on open expressways for their long trips but are frustrated by overcrowded buses, green line trains, and other services designed for those who cannot afford such luxuries. The leader is perceived as a self-centered celebrity who expects unquestioning worship, even when they make significant errors. The military provided this group with advanced social media networks and established propaganda grids to disseminate false information and fake news, aiming to cultivate hatred towards all parties except Khan’s PTI. They employed retired generals, trained unsuccessful media personalities, and rejected vloggers as spin masters to influence the direction of debates. The major TV networks were compelled to invite a general onto their shows, and the anchors were instructed to refrain from interrupting the generals, regardless of the nonsense they might spew. The senior journalists were intimidated into promoting the Dome System and were instructed to only highlight its achievements while disregarding any mention of its shortcomings. Vloggers who stand up for and promote the Master Dome system can acquire millions of views, both from real viewers and bots, which can help them become millionaires.
The creation of the Master Dome system drew parallels to the provision of guns, training, and financial support to right-wing extremists in their fight against communism. Despite engaging in conflict initially, they transformed into war-hardened individuals and developed wartime economies and sustainable profit-generating businesses as the war came to a close. So why would they go back to where they started? Their decision to stay on track made them a constant source of frustration for those who brought them into being.
The military chose to conduct another experiment, repeating the same pattern from history. The objective was to design a system where only one charge can impact the zone under their control. Their repeated failure led them to create yet another monster, like before. The Master Dome System had a captivating influence on individuals from various backgrounds in the media community, including celebrities from television, film, and sports, as well as judges at different levels of the judicial system. The military has once again realised its error and is now making efforts to undo it.
Unfortunately, they realised too late that their unipolar system was unbreakable because of its overwhelming strength.
When the military escalated the pressure, the system fought back with an enormous force. The system found its defenders among media spin masters, judges, and retired generals, who benefit from it, and they ensured its protection against any form of attack.
What comes after this point?
The establishment is actively trying to undo its second significant error in history. Their goal is to eliminate Khan, Sharifs, and Zardaris, and establish a “pseudo-neutral” atmosphere by installing leaders with docile and submissive personalities, essentially creating a controlled environment. In their initial effort, they aimed to avoid a uni-polar system by not granting full power to any party, but instead securing their substantial presence in the new dispensation.
As an example, during the 8 February 2024 elections, if the military leaders remained impartial, Khan’s “astute and shrewd” supporters would not be involved in actions such as taking voter forms from one party’s booth, enjoying Qima-Paratha at another party’s booth, and casting their votes for a candidate from an entirely different party. This makes absolutely no sense. Khan’s exceptional performance would not have been possible without covert help.
The consequence of this is that several anti-establishment PML-N candidates have suffered defeat. Without the backing of the establishment, Khan’s astute voters would not have been able to seize control of KP, which would have led to the appointment of a Chief Minister who was on the run. Furthermore, digital activists would avoid propagating falsehoods and fake news through their vlogs and prime-time TV shows. If the generals were impartial, the behavior of the judges would be different. They act in that manner because the supposed neutrals permit them to some extent. It appears evident that the majority government will not include the Sharif family, instead opting for weaker governments that have to depend on the Junta. They managed to achieve it, but the situation is spiraling out of hand.
Once again, the media is saturated with reports of the military engaging in secret communication with Khan’s party, to bring them into power by December 2024, on the condition that Khan apologises for his crimes. It is extremely challenging to accept this viewpoint, and anyone who hopes or believes such absurdities is living in a state of delusion and narrow-mindedness or has some agenda. The military has been working with Khan for several decades, and their extensive experience has led them to the undeniable conclusion that Khan is completely untrustworthy. To achieve a balanced distribution of power, the pseudo-neutral system is the path to follow for all power centers, in their opinion.
Georg Hegel, the well-known German philosopher, once stated that the sole lesson we derive from history is our inability to learn anything from it. Similar to previous unsuccessful attempts, this latest experiment is bound to fail. The military should grant the parliament the authority to determine the next course of action and actively support the implementation of the decision made by the people’s representatives. Khan’s supporters and key figures confidently assert that Pakistan’s existence relies solely on Khan, elevating his status above all others.
Those who make such a statement should face consequences, and if any supposedly “unbiased” media individuals raise objections, they should also face repercussions. Parliament must establish laws that safeguard politics from the influence of judicial activism, holding judges responsible for their statements and verdicts. The appointment of high courts and Supreme Court judges should be carried out by parliamentary committees, rather than being based on the recommendations of other judges.
To effectively address media individuals and vloggers who spread falsehoods and engage in propaganda to attract the attention of online trolls, Parliament needs to implement tough legislation.
Should we fail to seize this historical opportunity, as is highly probable, our country will forever remain divided and fail to establish its identity as a nation.
There seems to be no hope or positivity in this situation.
