After featuring on the Momentum Pakistan flood relief compilation, Karachi native Sidd returns on Cape Monze Records with his first solo 2-track single Essa // Work.

Staying true to the time of the year Sidd takes cues from afro house and moombaton with this release providing two perfect summertime club-ready tracks.

Sidd is one of Pakistan's youngest and most exciting prospects in electronic music. Featured in Mixmag Asia and
EDM.com, Sidd has worked with household names such as BBC Asian Network and Spotify as well as underground communities such as Keep Hush UK. The electronic DJ/producerʼs signature style of house music aims to proudly represent Pakistan on a global scale and promises to bridge South Asian culture with the rest of the world.

Born in Karachi, Pakistan, but raised between Pakistan and Australia; Sidd discovered dance music when he first heard Nerosʼ album "Welcome Reality” in 2011. Through-out his early schooling his father would regularly have a setup of Technics which is how Sidd first learned how to DJ when he was just 13 years old.

In 2019 Sidd made the move to Byron Bay in Australia, to pursue his higher education in audio engineering, studying full time and DJing on the weekends. In 2020, Sidd moved back home to Karachi to pursue his love for music and production full time.

Inspired by the likes of Skrillex, Armand Van Helden and Green Velvet, Sidd fuses two genres by marrying traditional South Asian music with modern house techniques, evolving the sound towards what feels like it will set a new precedent for brown artists in the music industry.

No-one is a greater advocate for pushing the South Asian music agenda and putting his home country Pakistan on the map via the vehicle of music, than electronic DJ and producer Sidd.

Sidd is excited by the emergence of South Asian music and believes the continent will be the next localised
explosion in non-western popular culture, following on from the breakthroughs of Afrobeats and Latin music in
recent years.

With a growing catalogue of singles and remixes, Sidd continues to push the electronic music culture in Pakistan
paving the way for future generations. With Sidd's Debut EP + Nationwide tour on the horizon, he is definitely one to watch for 2023.
