Dr Shabaz Gill shared screenshots of the three-page medical report, which had stated that, 'If [Sharif] returns to solitary confinement, he may develop what we call the takotsubo syndrome due to stressful environment.'
Dr Gill pointed out that 'takotsubo syndrome' is more colloquially known as 'broken heart syndrome' and most commonly occurs in women.

The medical report, which was written by Dr Fayaz Shawl, an American cardiologist of Indian origin, had recommended that Nawaz Sharif remain in London pending further treatment for his heart, citing his ‘fragile cardiac condition’ and ongoing need for extensive medical care.
Dr Gill took umbrage with the cardiologist's ethnicity, saying, 'Has this story been written by India as usual? This Dr Sahib is originally from India. ' He further questioned why Nawaz Sharif would need to appoint his own doctor, when there are plenty of qualified doctors available in London.

Dr Gill continued to lampoon the report, which recommended the elderly statesman engage in “routine walks in open fields as well as stress-free physical activity.”
"He should have written that in order to keep the patient's heart happy, he should be made the Prime Minister immediately. Get a two-thirds majority. [Receive] 10 expensive apartments in London. Security agencies and judges should be allowed to speak ill.,” Dr Gill joked about the report's medical recommendations.
