The province-wide ban on men visiting girls' schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been decided by the government.
The decision states that the chief guest for every presentation or event held at the schools must also be a woman.
It has been stated that complaints made on the government's citizen portal prompted the taking of this action.
A similar decision was made in October 2018, when Mahmood Khan, the province's then-chief minister, issued an order prohibiting men from entering female-only schools and directing them to invite female lawmakers and role models as special guests for any type of event held across the province.
Mahmood Khan had stated that the KP Education Department should refrain from promoting social and yearly events at girls' schools on social media, and he also mentioned that females were to be educated about the province's social, cultural, and Islamic values.
