The woman was travelling with her nine-year-old son in the train. The woman’s husband, who was waiting for them at the Tohana railway station, said that her wife called him when she was 20 kilometres away and asked him to come to the station and pick them up, according to Hindustan Times.
Railway Police said suspect Sandeep Kumar boarded the train at Narwana in Jind and tried to molest the woman before pushing her out of the train and jumping out himself.
Police arrested a man for allegedly raping his daughter over seven years in the Indian city of Ambala earlier in August. The minor told police her father first raped her when she was a grade three student and continued over the next seven years. She said she had remained mum because her father had threatened her of dire consequences.
