1899, A Netflix Original, Has Been Cancelled After Season1

1899 is about passengers on an immigrant ship traveling to the new continent get caught in a mysterious riddle when they find a second vessel adrift on the open sea. The show stars Emily Beecham, Andreas Pietschmann, Aneurin Barnard, Isabella Wei, Maciej Musiał, Yann Gael, Anton Lesser, Miguel Bernardeau, Clara Rosager, Rosalie Craig and Maria Erwolter.

A Netflix original, there were high expectations of the show and sure enough, it was trending on Netflix on it’s first episode’s release on November 17^th 2022. With a 7.5 on IMDB and 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, the show was gaining traction and many enthusiasts and experts theorized that the show would get better as it did with the Netflix original ‘Dark’.

However the show was unexpectedly cancelled today by Netflix which confused and devastated fans all over the world.
