British-Pakistani Ahmadi Man Shot Dead During First Visit Back Home In Nankana Sahib

A man belonging to the Ahmadi community was shot death by unknown gunmen near Nankana Sahib on Thursday.

According to reports, 55-year-old Maqsood Ahmed was attacked by unidentified assailants in Dharowal, near Nankana Sahib. Family members say he was shot around 9PM as he was irrigating his farmland in Chak 33, Dharowal. They say Ahmed was a dual British-Pakistani citizen and this was his first tour back home after migrating from Pakistan.

Police have reportedly confirmed the shooting, but declined to add any further comments.
