The creation of the world is the most mesmerizing act of God. Each creation corresponds to a different manifestation of God’s attributes. His purpose in creating anything is to reveal his character and glorify him. The Generation of Humans is the perfect illustration of God’s intelligence and depiction of his wisdom. When the first man, Adam," was created, he was created completely and was honored among all creatures. He was physically fit and intellectually stimulated. Then, according to the needs of man, his rib was transformed and turned into the first female "Eve". So Adam and Eve were created simultaneously but separated afterward, as Adam was created with his ribs at once. So God justified the concept of gender equality theologically.
Secondly, the portion that was selected from a man's body was the ribs. This is of great significance as Ribs indicates the equality to stand beside Adam and opens the floor of companionship. She wasn’t created from a piece of head, so she couldn’t rule over men. She was not created from the portion of a foot, so that man could have control over her. But the ribs were selected so as to give her equal rights and to allow her to participate equally in this world with men by standing side by side. So the selection of the man’s body portion was a beautiful proof of God’s intelligence to put emphasis on gender equality.
Thirdly, when they were fashioned to rule the world, both were blessed equally in terms of intellect and spirituality. Moreover, both were commanded to fulfill God’s purpose to glorify his great name. And when it came to punishment, both received it equally but in different patterns. God is the God of justice. When he rewards, he rewards equally, and when he forbids, he does the same on an equal scale. His scale of measurement is the same for all. His ways of graciousness are also equalized. He promised the concepts of paradise and hell to all genders.
Fourthly, history is full of examples and demonstrations of the works of both males and females who worked up to the mark by maximizing their full potential, which clearly indicates the perfect creation of all three genders. If points are pondered comprehensively, then gender equality can be truly seen theologically.
So it’s a clear indication that gender equality is not a man-made concept; it was preplanned and predestined by God. So if anyone tries to interrupt it due to self-made motives, he is answerable to the Almighty.
When God has perfectly demonstrated it by the equivalent provision of all things from creation until now, then man’s inclusion to change is only problematic.
