Meanwhile, a no-confidence motion has been submitted in the G-B Assembly Secretariat, calling for a vote of no-confidence against Khurshid.
Khurshid was disqualified after the Higher Education Commission submitted its reply over his degrees to a three-member bench hearing a petition filed by G-B Assembly Member Shahzad Agha.
The University of London formally responded to the HEC's official request to authenticate CM Khursheed's degree, which it later determined to be "fake" since it had been submitted as an official part of his candidature paperwork.
Muhammad Khalid Khurshid Khan is an elected member of the G-B Assembly. He was elected on a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticket during the 2020 elections on the seat GBA-13 Astore-I.
