South Indian Actor Rajinikanth's upcoming film “Thalaivar 170” is certain to be a hit having accumulated a stellar ensemble cast. Amitabh Bachchan, a megastar, is the latest to join the project.
Bachchan's addition to the case was announced by Lyca Productions via their official 'X' (formerly Twitter) account. “Welcoming the Shahenshah of Indian cinema, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is on board for #Thalaivar170...#Thalaivar170Team reaches new heights with the towering talent of the one and only @SrBachchan."
Waiting for him on set will be other well-known actors including Rana Dagubbati and Faahad Faasil.
There has been a lot of hype for 72-year-old Rajinikanth's next film "Thalaivar 170". The renowned actor recently traveled to Kerala to begin filming for the project.
Bachchan's addition to the movie will see the Bollywood veteran reunite with the Tollywood legend Rajinikanth after 32 years. The two last worked together in the 1992 film "Hum". They also worked together in Andha Kaanoon and Geraftaar.
Rajinikanth will play the lead role in the TJ Gnanavel-written and directed film Thalaivar 170. Before leaving for Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday, he spoke to the media at the Chennai airport. He said in the media interview that his upcoming movie will be very costly to produce but will be a commercial entertainment project with a powerful message.
In the Lyca Productions-produced film, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan will all appear. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the soundtrack for the film.
