In connection with the hearing of Sukesh Chandrashekhar's Rs 200 crore money laundering case, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez appeared in Delhi's Patiala House court on Wednesday.
According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) will file an additional complaint in the same case against Conman Sukesh and Jacqueline. According to reports, the case's subsequent hearing will occur on April 18.
Sukesh appeared in the money laundering case in Delhi's Patiala House court in February of this year. He talked about jailed AAP minister Satyendra Jain. Sukesh requested a transfer of his case from the court of Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Shailendra Malik in a handwritten appeal last month, alleging bias. Sukesh's judicial custody was prolonged by a Delhi court for a further 13 days, and the court also denied his request to have his case transferred.
In the Rs. 200 crore extortion case, which the Enforcement Directorate is looking into, Chandrashekhar has been charged. Sukesh is the main suspect in the money laundering case and is also suspected of a number of other crimes that the ED, Delhi Police, and Economic Offences Wing are looking into.
Throughout the course of the investigation into his case, a number of Bollywood stars' names surfaced, primarily those of Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The conman, who is incarcerated in Mandoli jail, made news recently after he sent a loving letter to Fernandez on his birthday. The letter expressed his love for her. Sukesh mentioned how much he missed the actress, even referring to her as a "beautiful doll." A passage from his letter stated, "You know I'm here for you and will be by your side no matter what, but you and your love are the greatest presents I could ever receive in my life. I adore you, my darling, and I'm grateful you gave me your heart. I also want to thank all of my friends and fans for their birthday greetings. Hundreds of notes and greetings have been sent to me. Thank you; I feel fortunate."
Sukesh had previously sent the Bollywood actress a note on the occasion of Holi.
