US Ambassador Donald Blome Meets KP CM Mahmood Khan

On Thursday August 4th, United States Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. During the trip the Ambassador handed over 36 medically-equipped vehicles to the provincial government.

According to a report, Blome met with Mahmood in the CM House and discussed matters of mutual importance, including economic development, commerce, educational partnerships and investments.

The Chief Minister welcomed the Ambassador on his first-ever visit to the province and thanked him for the US’s cooperation with the provincial government in multiple projects.

The Ambassador handed the vehicles over to KP Health Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra. He also visited the Torkham border.

In a tweet, the US Consulate said: “Amb[assador] Blome met with KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan today to discuss US cooperation with Pakistan on economics development, commerce, educational partnerships, and investments that have helped the region and its people.”
