BOL TV has sacked senior reporters Imran Waseem, Ehtesham Kayani, and M.B. Soomro without any prior notice by violating the terms and conditions signed in appointment letters.
The news channel has not only fired these senior reporters from their jobs but has also not paid their salaries for the last several months.
While condemning the move, senior journalist Matiullah Jan said on X, formerly known as Twitter, “It is a test case for our courts and amended Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) laws.”
The journalist also expressed hope that Almighty Allah will provide a better workplace for these eminent journalists.
