Dr. Arif Alvi's continued presidency in Pakistan is deemed dangerous for the nation and its constitution by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).
In a statement on X, the former Twitter platform, the JUI-F, through its spokesperson, Aslam Ghauri, said that Arif Alvi was making a joke out of his role as the head of state.
The statement continued, "The role of the incumbent president has always been controversial, whether it be the no-confidence motion, the dissolution of the assembly, or the election date."
Dr. Alvi should resign as president before the next general elections, the JUI-F opined.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman's JUI-F stated that President Alvi should be in Attock Jail rather than the Presidency due to the crimes he has committed.
