Earlier, Imran had accused the United States of hatching a conspiracy by colluding with local abettors to remove his elected government.
Addressing the media in Islamabad today, he said that his revelations can harm the national interests. “I don’t want my country to suffer any damage that’s why I am silent about this [conspiracy] and all those elements involved in it.”
He warned that he has recorded a video and kept it in a secured place, which would be released if anything happens to him "to expose all those who have committed treason against the country".
“I am respectfully asking my judiciary that our fundamental rights have been suspended in this country.. journalists are being threatened and FIRs have been registered against our senior leaders to silence them,” he said.
He added that the “fascists tactics” are being used to impose corrupt people on the country and all state institutions have been “destroyed” as well to support the incumbent rulers.
He alleged that the entire administration along with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is plotting to manipulate the upcoming Punjab by-polls in favour of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
