In a video message to the government, the Karachi based MNA threatened action against the government if an attempt to arrest Khan was made.

"If even a hair on Imran Khan is harmed, then I will spare neither you [the government], nor your kids. Before anything else I will launch a suicide attack on you, I won't let you get away with this" he said, adding that there were thousands of workers ready to do the same.
His video statement came out a day after Interior Minister, responding to Imran Khan's return to Bani Gala, said that the police personnel assigned to the party chief for his protection will ‘happily’ arrest him on the expiry of his pre-arrest bail.
Since calling off his party’s long march on May 25, Khan had been holed up in Peshawar, during which time the incumbent government booked the party chairperson as well as several other PTI leaders and workers in a number of cases over charges of vandalism and arson.
Following this, Khan was granted pre-arrest bail from the Peshawar High Court, after which he returned to Bani Gala to join a PTI core committee meeting earlier yesterday (Sunday).
Ataullah isn't the first PTI MNA to make bomb and suicide attack threats. In March, ahead of the no-confidence motion against former prime minister Imran Khan, a video of MNA Shehryar Afridi made the rounds on social media, where he also threatened to carry out a suicide attack.

"If suicide was not forbidden [in Islam] I would have tied explosives to my body and killed all hypocrites in parliament so that they would be eliminated forever," the enraged MNA said.
Previously, Ghulam Sarwar made remarks along similar lines and said that if suicide hadn't been declared haraam in Islam, he would have wished to be a suicide bomber so he could 'eliminate' all the 'enemies of the country and of Islam'.
