Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were in a relationship for many years and appeared in numerous films together, including 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya', 'Partner', and 'Ek Tha Tiger'. Fans like their on-screen connection, and they've continued to collaborate even after their split. They recently appeared in 'Tiger 3'. However, director Kabir Khan has revealed after many years that Salman and Katrina were not comfortable working together following their breakup.
Khan revealed on casting director Mukesh Chhabra's forthcoming show'The Bombay Dreams' that he had already secured Katrina for the part of Zoya before contacting Salman. Khan later agreed to play the titular role. "Katrina had already been signed. Her name was Zoya. Then we headed to Salman. This was the point where they had split up and weren't at ease," Khan explained.
Katrina previously told Vogue that her first serious relationship was with Salman.
Even after they split ways, Katrina and Salman collaborated on 'Bharat' and stayed friendly with one another. They are currently extremely close friends and recently gave interviews for 'Tiger 3' together. The third installment of the franchise performed well at the box office and featured Emraan Hashmi as the villain. It was directed by Maneesh Sharma.
