The 9th grade computer science paper was reportedly leaked on social media on the day of the exam.
At this point, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) is unable to verify the authenticity of the leaked document, which has put them in a difficult situation.
According to a BSEK spokesperson, inquiries are still being conducted to determine if the document that is being circulated is real or fake. Both officials and students are becoming more anxious due to the lack of clarity around the situation.
This worrying incident has tainted the initiation of the grade 9 and 10 exams today. In response, the chairman of the BSEK has strongly warned students not to bring cell phones into examination rooms, stressing that doing so will result in the devices being seized.
While inquiries into the purported paper leak persist, a spokesperson said that BSEK is dedicated to maintaining the fairness and integrity of the examination procedure, guaranteeing that students' academic endeavors are protected from any anomalies or misconduct.
