Under this perspective, the new dress code bans female teachers from wearing jeans or tights. Meanwhile, male teachers cannot wear jeans and T-shirts. Moreover, the staff have to wear teaching gowns or lab coats, depending on the setting. Both formal and comfortable footwear is allowed, but not slippers.
For men who wear shalwar-qameez, the waistcoat is now mandatory. Dress shirts for males are required to be “preferably full-sleeves.”
And for women, the regulations prescribe:
“Weather appropriate simple and decent shalwar qameez/trousers shirt with dopatta/shawl”
