Voices of dissent from within The Great Khan’s ranks are saying that two petitions to the party’s high command protesting rigging in the inter party polls of two years ago are still pending. In one, a contestant for the seat of president petitioned the party hierarchy to allege that the poll had been rigged in the Makedoom’s favour and that he had been unfairly deprived of victory. That complaint has been in cold storage for two years and counting. Ditto with a petition alleging rigging against a real estate developer, once of the Qing’s party, now of The Great Khan’s horde. It was alleged by his electoral rival that the real estate king bought votes via cell phone and he also presented the evidence. No action has to date been taken by The Khan or his leading stalwarts. And they’ve been crying foul that The Man of Steel & Co haven’t moved on their general elections complaints for a year plus. Surely, what’s sauce for the goose ….

Except for a bedroom and an ante room which are reserved for him as his sanctum sanctorum, and no intruders allowed, the rest of the house is at the beck and call of The Man of Steel’s Talented Bro & Co. We hear the hill house is frequently occupied by near and dear ones, without a “by your leave” in the direction of the Guv.

We hear former big gun Canny has secured a cozy sinecure for his offspring in one of the khaki empire’s business concerns. They say he’s been appointed “media advisor”, if you please, but keeps a low profile and is never in the news. Just as well.
