Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique was defeated in his stronghold constituency of NA-122 Lahore in the 2024 general elections, according to unofficial and unconfirmed results.
According to unofficial results, Sardar Latif Khosa of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) won the elections with 117,109 votes, while Rafique received 77,709 votes.
There was a fierce battle between the PML-N and the PTI in the NA-122 Lahore 6 seat.
Rafique took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce that he accepts the decision of the public wholeheartedly. He also congratulated his competitor, Khosa, and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Khawaja Saad Rafique, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed (PTI) Latif Khosa, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) Muhammad Imtiaz, and Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) Zeba Basharat are among several candidates contested for the seat.
In the 2018 general elections, PTI founder Imran Khan won with 84,313 votes, while PML-N's Khawaja Saad Rafique finished second.
The overall population of the constituency is 953,104, with 570,537 registered voters. Of these, 295,487 are men, and 275,050 are women.
