Rabia Anum, a popular television host and salon owner, refused to appear alongside actor and singer Mohsin Abbas Haider on ARY's live show hosted by Nida Yasir.
Initially Anum had accepted the invitation but upon reaching the set discovered that Haider was also a guest. A tearful Anum went on to express her respect for ARY and Nida Yasir but also spoke about how she had taken a stand against domestic violence and that she simply could not compromise on her principles.
In 2019 Haider had been accused of violence by his ex-wife Fatima and even then Anum had spoken out against him. On the show she went to speak about how if she stayed on she would have no grounds to stand on in her support for domestic abuse victims and survivors.
