The statement comes after PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif directed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to finalise candidates for possible Punjab elections.
According to the federal minister, everyone knows what's going on in Punjab and it seems no one intends to actually dissolve the provincial assemblies.
He was speaking to media after a meeting with Nawaz Sharif in London, wherein he reportedly conveyed 'an important message' to him from Shujaat, as per media reports.
He added that irrespective of whether political setup was going to change, intentions definitely were, and added, "When intentions aren't good, there are consequences."
A day earlier, PML-N stalwart Rana Sanaullah dared PTI Chairman Imran Khan to dissolve the provincial assemblies, after Nawaz' directives to the party to prepare for elections.
