Reacting strongly to Prime Minister Imran Khan's statement wherein he said that his 'gun' is now aimed at Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has warned the prime minister of consequences, asking him to refrain from threatening the party. Bilawal went on to say that the party has never used a gun, but does know how to use one.

Further, Bilawal said the incident where a drone hit and injured his sister, Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, during the PPP's long march in Khanewal, was a 'deliberate' attack.  Bilawal said the drone could be seen heading directly for his sister, and said the matter should be investigated further. He said his family believed the incident was a 'message for Zardari and the party'.

An angry Bilawal said, "We have given several sacrifices, but not anymore", adding that the family was contacting lawyers and had filed a report of the incident.

Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari suffered lacerations above her eye after a news channel drone crashed into her face as she stood alongside her brother during a PPP's long march stop in Khanewal. Aseefa was taken to PPP House in Multan where he was checked by doctor and required stitches.

During a press conference in Islamabad, Bilawal said that he has heard "a widespread murmur in Punjab that no government posting is allowed in the province before the first lady is bribed".  He also insinuated that the prime minister's sister Aleema Khan had earned her wealth through nefarious means. He warned the prime minister that there were similar allegations about him that had yet come to light.
