Pakistan's Under-11 squash player Zain Bukhari has passed away, as confirmed by the Punjab Squash Association (PSA) on Thursday.
Bukhari passed away at his home after being electrocuted by a motor.
According to facts, the motor was electrified owing to rain, and the 11-year-old unintentionally touched it as he was playing at home today.
The abrupt passing of Bukhari shocked the nation, especially the squash community in Pakistan.
"Zain's sudden passing has saddened us all," said the squash association's spokesman. "PSA, join the family of Zain in their sorrow."
Because of the passing of Bukhari, the Independence Day celebrations have been postponed, according to squash organization secretary Mohammad Anwar.
Additionally, he mentioned that the age-division squash league was scheduled to begin on August 11.
