Non-Bailable Warrants Issued For Imran Khan, Fawad Ch

In a significant milestone on Tuesday, the Election Commission of Pakistani (ECP) issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Fawad Chaudhry, a former party leader, in the case of threatening senior election officials.

Fawad publicly "threatened" the ECP members during a media conference outside the former prime minister's house in Lahore in January, prompting the filing of a sedition case.

Despite being called to appear before the ECP in a personal capacity, the former prime minister and his former close aide did not do so.
