Dr. Asif Sheikh, Vice Chancellor of IBA Sukkur, vowed to take decisive action against those undermining the future of Sindh's students, following his supervision of the MDCAT across the province.
Emphasizing the need for transparency in the testing process, Dr. Sheikh announced that IBA would release provisional results by December 18. Additionally, he revealed that a grievance committee had been established to address concerns raised by students who participated in the test.
Dr. Sheikh stated, “All stakeholders of Sindh should play their part in safeguarding the future of Sindh’s students.” He further emphasized that IBA had a pristine reputation and once again proved its mettle by conducting the MDCAT with precision.
The test, held on December 8 in various cities across the province, aimed to select capable candidates for careers in the fields of medical and health sciences. The Sindh government had tasked the Institute of Business Administration with conducting the exam following an order from the Sindh High Court. The transparency of MDCAT had been in question for the past four years due to the alleged involvement of an influential mafia in leaking the test paper.
