Explosion near Convoy Of MPA’s Son Leaves Two Guards Dead In Balochistan

Two security guards were killed and one injured in an explosion near the convoy of Sardar Khan Rand, son of MPA Sardar Yar Mohammad Rand, in the Bolan district of Balochistan.

According to Levies officials, Sardar Khan Rand was coming from Dhadar when the explosion occurred near Noushman, an area between Dhadar and Sunni.

In the blast, Mir Sardar Khan Rand remained safe, while two of his bodyguards, Muhammad Umar and Muhammad Hasan, were killed and Muhammad Ramzan was injured.

According to Levies officials, the dead and the injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Dhadar.

On the other hand, on receiving the information about the incident, Deputy Commissioner Bolan Samiullah Agha and other officials reached the spot and cordoned off the area.

Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudous Bizenjo condemned the bomb blast on the convoy of Sardar Khan Rand and expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of two security guards and the injuries of others in the terrorist incident.

He directed the law enforcement agencies to use all the resources at their disposal to bring the elements involved in the explosion to justice. He said terrorists wanted to create an atmosphere of fear and panic in Balochistan. The chief minister pledged that law and order in the province would be maintained at any cost.

On Monday, an explosion on a Balochistan Constabulary van near the Kanbari bridge in the Kachchi area of Balochistan resulted in the deaths of nine security officers and the injuries of thirteen others.

According to SSP Kachhi Mahmood Notizai, a Balochistan Constabulary Police van was attacked in the Bolan neighborhood of Kanbari, which is close to the Kachhi and Sibi Badar districts.

He claimed that at the time of the incident, which resulted in 9 deaths and 13 injuries, it was assumed that a suicide bomber riding a motorcycle was responsible. Security personnel and bomb squads arrived at the location and cordoned it off.
