He made the remarks from inside the courtroom, as he spoke to a journalist representing a foreign news agency.
"It is not the security agencies, it is one man, the army chief," he said when the journalist referred to one of his previous statements.
He went on to add that "there is no democracy in the army and the army is getting maligned by what is happening right now."
"Sadly, the events that happened when I was inside; I only found out [about it] afterwards. Army is getting maligned because of one man," Imran said as he accused COAS General Asim Munir.
Earlier today, a division bench of Islamabad High Court granted Khan two-week bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The PTI chief‘s bail plea was heard by a division bench comprising Justices Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Saman Rafat Imtiaz in courtroom number 2.
Separately, the court issued a stay order on the criminal proceedings related to the Toshakhana case, two days after Khan was charged in the case.
The stay order will be in force until the case’s next hearing, which is scheduled for June 8.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court declared Imran's arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case illegal, and ordered his immediate release.
He was told to stay at Police Lines guesthouse until the hearing on Friday (today), for security purposes. The former premier, however, was allowed to meet up to 10 people while at the guesthouse.
It its observations a day earlier, the apex court deemed the manner in which the former premier was taken into custody from the IHC premises, as unlawful.
The verdicts since Thursday drew a strong reaction from the ruling coalition, that accused courts of giving undue facilitation to the PTI chief.
