In a podcast on Friday, Toor said that army top brass is also considering transferring Corps Commanders Saqib Mehmood Malik (Bahawalpur), Hassan Azhar Hayat Khan (Peshawar) and Asif Ghafoor (Quetta).
He further said that Chief of Logistics Staff Lt Gen Nauman Zakaria and Adjutant General Asim Malik may also be transferred from their posts.
Riots broke out in multiple cities as PTI workers engaged in scuffles with law enforcers after Imran Khan’s arrest from the Islamabad High Court premises on Tuesday (May 9).

Another group, apparently of protesters, was seen gathering outside the Frontier Corps headquarters in Peshawar.
In another instance, caught on camera, military vehicles were seen being pelted with stones by another mob at the scene.
The riots were reported from Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi, Peshawar, Multan, Hyderabad, and Quetta. Section 144 was put in place in Peshawar and Lahore to contain the unrest.
Online services, such as Twitter and WhatsApp also suffered outages in multiple parts of the country.
Khan was arrested by Rangers in the Al-Qadir Trust case, by a heavy force of the paramilitary personnel from the premises of the courtroom where he had appeared to secure pre-arrest bail in multiple FIRs registered against him.
