Bollywood Star Ranbir Kapoor To Start Shooting For ‘Ramayana’ In March

After the huge success of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi are getting ready for their next collaboration, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.

As per reports, the actor is slated to start filming the mythical drama in March 2024, and there are more dates set for April and May 2024.

The elaborate filming schedule that Film City director Nitesh Tiwari proposed is included in the report. Major crowd scenes and conflict scenes are slated for April and May; however, moments with significant discussion between Ranbir and Sai will be filmed in the first phase. Before the monsoon season begins, these sequences should be completed.

Powerhouse DNEG, a VFX company, and director Nitesh Tiwari have worked together to painstakingly create the mythological world for their ambitious film. The actors participated in complex look tests and 3D mapping workshops throughout the pre-production stage. Ranbir Kapoor will be traveling to Los Angeles in February for important technical rehearsals at the DNEG office. The report further states that during the first several weeks of the shoot, the team will receive assistance from skilled experts in Los Angeles to help them become acquainted with the procedure.

The second half of 2025 is when the film's creators intend to release Ramayana.
