However, Imran Khan didn’t share any details regarding his plan.
On Sunday, after postponing an election rally due to Section 144 imposed in Lahore, Khan said, "In case I am arrested, we have a plan ready, which will be shared with the nation at the appropriate time."
In defense of his decision to postpone the rally, Imran Khan said that he became anxious after observing the PTI supporters gathering at Zaman Park, Khan’s Lahore residence, and feared that there may be violence if everyone showed up.
While criticizing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Khan questioned whether there is any law in the country or whether it is being run on the directions of "the queen."
He also clarified that, though he and his party oppose the actions of the state institutions, that doesn’t mean PTI is fighting against them.
"I can see that only the judiciary can save the country from the disaster that it has gone into," he added, adding that the PTI would have patiently awaited the polls had the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led administration successfully addressed the country's economic issues.
He criticized the coalition administration for moving Pakistani money to offshore accounts and questioned how they could resolve such economic issues.
The PTI chief reaffirmed, "There is no other way to lift the country out of the morass except through fair elections."
But he asserted that the PDM only has one goal, which is to eliminate elections.
Imran Khan continued to criticize Maryam, alleging that she is responsible for the PML-N's demise. The PML-N senior leadership will now follow orders from this woman who hasn't put in an hour's worth of effort, Khan said in jest of the PML-N senior vice president.
