Two unidentified men opened fire outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence in Bandra, Mumbai, about 5 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.
Police officers stated that three bullets were fired. "Mumbai Police's Crime Branch has reached the spot for investigation," they stated.
Security has been tightened around the actor's home. A forensic team is also present. The police also stated that efforts to identify the offenders using CCTV video are underway.

Last year, Salman Khan received an assassination threat from fugitive criminal Goldy Brar of Canada, who openly announced that the Bollywood superstar was on his gang's kill list. Earlier this year, Mumbai Police filed a FIR against criminals Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, as well as another individual, after receiving an email threatening Salman Khan at his Mumbai home.
