Hamid Khan Likely To Rejoin PTI To Help It On Legal Front: Report
Disgruntled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and prominent lawyer Hamid Khan is likely to rejoin the party to help it on the legal front.

Express Tribune reported that Hamid, who had left the party after developing differences with former prime minister Imran Khan over the handling of Justice Isa case, held a meeting with the the PTI chairperson two days ago.

The meeting was arranged by PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, reportedly on the desire of Imran himself.

On Monday, Hamid said that Imran Khan had himself admitted that reference against Justice Isa was a 'mistake'. He, however, added that he has a scarce interest in getting any slot in the party’s hierarchy.

Commenting on the development, senior lawyers said that Hamid’s re-joining is significant as his expertise would prevent PTI from further embarrassments on legal fronts.

Insaf Lawyers Forum Chairperson Ali Zafar said that Hamid is a sane voice and he will give advice in accordance with law and constitution.

Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) President Shoiab Shaheen, who also belongs to Hamid Khan's group, has invited Imran Khan to address the capital lawyers this week.

Analysts believe that this is a sign of Imran Khan's rising popularity in the legal fraternity since his removal as prime minister.
