The Legend of Maula Jatt is a remake of the cult classic 1979 film Maula Jatt, and follows the story of the iconic epynomous Punjabi fighter. The remake looks to be a darker exploration into the creation of the myth and legend surrounding him.

The film stars Lollywood icon Fawad Khan, and features a killer cast including the beautiful Mahira Khan and Humaima Malick, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Gohar Rasheed, as well as Faris Shafi.
The film description says, "From times untold where legends are written in soil with blood, a hero is born. Maula Jatt, a fierce prizefighter with a tortured past seeks vengeance against his arch nemesis Noori Natt, the most feared warrior in the land of Punjab. Loyalties are challenged and families torn apart in this epic tale of truth, honour and justice."
