Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda stated on Saturday that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was "Buzdar II."

Speaking with journalists in Karachi, Vawda likened Maryam to previous Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, who was chastised by political adversaries for alleged misgovernance in Punjab.

Buzdar was chosen as Punjab chief minister at the request of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, amid resistance within his party.

In response to PTI founder Imran Khan's tussle with the establishment, he stated that he had previously attempted to persuade Khan, but he did not comprehend. He stated that it would be preferable if the PTI founder established a government on the moon.

"I would still like to ask the PTI founder to avoid the politics of 'Maula Jutt' and find a democratic way out," he said, adding that the culprits in the May 9 occurrences would not be spared no matter what.

Vawda claimed he was removed from the party for expressing the truth at a time when the PTI was at its most popular.

The former federal minister forecast difficulties for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur following Ramadan.

When he announced his intention to run for Senate, he stated that the outcome was up to Allah, as he had previously served as an MNA, federal minister, and senator. He recognized that horse trading was a real occurrence in Pakistani politics, but he couldn't guarantee with certainty that it would not happen this time.

While responding to a question, Vawda said that he would meet with President Asif Ali Zardari a thousand times.

He also said that he did not vote because the government was only in power for a short time. "I think the coalition government will last two or two and a half years," he added.
