Khan said matters between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the military had reached a point of no return.
Khan said now everybody believed that COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was going to indeed retire. The ISPR too, he said, had categorically covered his farewell visits.
Journalist Amir Ghauri said it was the Sharifs once again who would appoint the next army chief. Journalist Khurram Hussain said Pakistan had become entrapped in a bailout cycle since the 1960s. The list of her creditors, he said, had steadily risen. The final nail, Hussain said, was then prime minister Imran Khan reneging on an IMF deal.
Flagship Naya Daur TV show Khabar Say Aagay streams Monday-Saturday at 9pm.
