Joke of the week
Teacher: which bird flies the fastest?
Student: An elephant.
Teacher: Idiot! What kind of family do you come from?
Student: My mum’s in the PTI, my dad’s a judge and my uncle is a general.
Teacher: Brilliant boy! Indeed, elephants are the fastest birds. There were three sitting on my wall yesterday.
Single National Curry
This Single National Curry that they’ve cooked up is proving to be unpalatable, even for those in The Great Khan’s horde who are its supposed proponents. We know for sure that high profile ministers have got their children or grandchildren admitted to American schools and some have even sent them to boarding schools abroad.
Meanwhile, concerned citizens are rallying together as stakeholders and organizing a broad based coalition to challenge the SNC in court. Next week, there may be some interesting developments on this score.
Merry go round
The endless merry go round of postings and transfers continues on its dizzying way while the country reels from mounting inflation and many other miseries. Many of The Khan’s old cohorts have been shown the door – amongst them the gent from Bokhara who, though back from his travels, has yet to be restored to his important portfolio. We also heard that a reshuffle was on the cards, but that it was stopped hours before it could be implemented by You Know Who. The latter have also sent a message to The Great Khan to desist from giving interviews to the foreign media, and especially to watch his words about all things Uncle Sam-ish.
