While asking for donations in the message posted online on Friday, Imran Khan termed the new government 'corrupt', and said that the regime change in Pakistan took place thanks to a 'foreign conspiracy' against his government.
He also announced launch of a website to cater to donations from overseas Pakistanis.

However, the former PM's message seeking donations did not sit well with some social media users who asked how he could afford a chartered plane if he needs donations for his party's activities.
On Saturday, Imran Khan travelled to and from Karachi in a chartered plane, which was reportedly paid for by a Dubai-based Pakistani businessman who happens to be Khan's friend.
According to reports, an aviation company received Rs2.9 million for the charter flights by the said Pakistani businessman.
