Female PPP MPA Alleges Vice-Chancellor Sent Her 'Vulgar, Sexual' Stickers
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) MPA Shazia Karim Sanghar has filed written allegations against Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) Prof Akhtar Baloch for sending her lewd messages and phone calls, including 'vulgar, sexual and immoral stickers through WhatsApp.'

The female member of the Sindh Assembly has alleged that the VC had threatened and harassed her in a phone call, after which he sent her a short pornographic video on WhatsApp.

“Such attitude of an educationist will not be tolerated,” she said, adding that she is "shocked and in mental trauma since [she] received his text."

In response, Professor Baloch claimed that he had sent the MPA a 'press release kind of text.'

“I forwarded her just a message being circulated on the social media,” the professor said, adding that he had 'good contact' with the MPA as she is a syndicate member of the university and they lived in the same neighborhood.

A written complaint has been provided to the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah by the MPA about the ongoing harassment she faced from Professor Baloch.  She has demanded swift action be taken against the VC.

The Madam MPA also filed the complaint with the Cybercrime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), as well as with PPP leadership, requesting an investigation into her allegation of online harassment.
