With demonstrations taking place in Amman, Tunis, Beirut, and Tehran, the globe has expressed indignation and condemnation over an attack on a hospital facility in Gaza that health authorities there claim resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people.

The news came after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Jordanian King Abdullah II canceled a planned meeting with US President Joe Biden in Amman.

According to Rawad Taha, a journalist for FRANCE 24, "The atmosphere in Beirut is very tense, especially after what happened at the hospital in Gaza." "Overnight we saw a number of protests targeting the US Embassy, the UNS headquarters, and the French Embassy, all condemning what has been happening in Gaza.”

A desperate scene as rescuers searched through blood-stained wreckage for survival was captured on camera by Al Jazeera. At least four victims were seen being taken away in body bags by rescuers and bystanders. Sources from the health ministry estimated the death toll at 500, compared to 300 given by the head of Gaza's civil defense.

Pakistan has harshly denounced the most recent Israeli strike on Gaza's Al-Ahly Al-Mamadany Hospital, calling it an act of inhumanity and inexcusable conduct.

One of the bloodiest occurrences in Gaza during the current escalation of the conflict, the murderous attack caused an astounding number of victims.

"The indiscriminate targeting of civilian populations and facilities is a grave violation of international law and constitutes war crimes," stated the Pakistani Foreign Office.

"We call on the international community to take urgent measures to bring an immediate end to the Israeli bombardment and siege of Gaza and the impunity with which Israeli authorities have operated in the last few days."

Pakistani Nobel laureate and human rights activist Malala Yousafzai also condemned the attack on a hospital in Gaza.

In her video message released on X, formerly known as Twitter, the rights activist said that collective punishment is not the answer.

“I’m horrified to see the bombing of al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza and unequivocally condemn it. I urge the Israeli government to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and reiterate the call for a ceasefire. I am directing $300,000 to three charities helping Palestinian people under attack,” Malala posted on X.

Following a hospital bombing, the chief of the UN health organization warned on Wednesday that the situation in the Gaza Strip is getting out of hand.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the director of the World Health Organisation (WHO), stated on X, "The situation in #Gaza is spiraling out of control." "We need violence on all sides to stop."

"Every second we wait to get medical aid in, we lose lives," he continued. "We need immediate access to start delivering life-saving supplies."

Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany, demanded on Wednesday a thorough inquiry into the attack on the Gaza hospital facility, which, according to medical personnel, resulted in the deaths of at least 200 people.

"The pictures of the explosion in a hospital in Gaza horrify me. On X, he stated, "Innocent citizens were injured and died." "A thorough investigation of the incident is imperative."

In a diplomatic flurry to stop the war with Hamas from expanding into a larger conflict, US President Joe Biden will land in Israel on Wednesday. This mission has grown more challenging as outrage over an explosion that killed hundreds in a Gaza Strip hospital spread throughout the Middle East.

When his talks with Arab leaders were canceled as he was leaving Washington, Biden lost the chance to have the face-to-face discussions that he believes are essential for navigating this precarious time. Biden was initially slated to visit Jordan as well.

Since his trip was cut short, Biden will now meet with President Isaac Herzog, first responders, the relatives of fatalities and captives, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his war cabinet.

According to the Russian foreign ministry, the attack on a hospital in Gaza that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians was a horrible crime. Israel should disclose satellite photographs to back up its denials, the ministry stated.

According to Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the foreign ministry, the incident was appalling and "dehumanizing."

According to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, assaults by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas do not warrant the "collective punishment" of the Palestinian people.

The collective punishment of the Palestinian people "cannot be justified" by the October 7 Hamas assaults, Guterres told attendees of a summit in Beijing for China's Belt and Road development plan.

An "immediate humanitarian ceasefire" was another demand he made.

At the same gathering, Guterres declared, "I call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire to ease the epic human suffering we are witnessing."

After a devastating attack on a hospital in Gaza, French President Emmanuel Macron declared that "nothing can justify targeting civilians" and demanded that help reach the coastal region "without delay."

The Israeli Defence Forces have refuted that it was their missiles and have placed the blame on the Islamic Jihad.

The Israeli army's denials that it was behind an attack on a Gaza hospital that resulted in hundreds of deaths were called "lies" by the Palestinian terrorist organization Islamic Jihad on Wednesday.

"The Zionist enemy is trying hard to evade its responsibility for the brutal massacre he committed by bombing the Baptist Arab National Hospital in Gaza through his usual fabrication of lies and by pointing the finger of blame at the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine," the statement read.

"We therefore affirm that the accusations put forward by the enemy are false and baseless," it stated.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on X that Israel's fight with Hamas is a "struggle between the children of light and the children of darkness, between humanity and the law of the jungle."

The post went up on Monday afternoon and quoted Netanyahu's remarks to the Knesset. It was deleted on Tuesday when reports of a hospital explosion in Gaza began to emerge that the Hamas-run health ministry said killed hundreds of people.
