With strikes from Iran and retaliation from Pakistan claiming over ten lives, Baloch Yekjehti Committee (BYC) leader Dr Mahrang Baloch has said that on both sides of the border, it was Baloch children and women who had suffered.

In a post on social media, Dr Mahrang said that everyone appeared to be celebrating the missile attacks launched by Iran and Pakistan and is busy spreading lies. No one is trying to find out about the innocent Baloch children and women who were killed in the attacks, she added.

"You people are living far away from the environment of war and violence; that's why you celebrate the killing of our innocent children and women," she stated in a post.

In an apparent warning, she said, "You people are enjoying the killing of innocent children, but be aware that this war can also reach your doorsteps, and your children can also be affected by this war."

"Right now, our blood is boiling because our innocent children are being killed on both sides of the border, but what hurts us most is that you people are celebrating it," she said.

She further said, "Politicians and journalists are celebrating, but we will never forget this, and we are preserving it in our memories."

It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Mahrang Baloch said on Thursday that the heirs of those who were killed in strikes in Iran were present in the camp in Islamabad.

Analyst Muzamal Suharwardy has said that the statement by Dr Mahrang has raised several questions about the claims of missing persons. "If the heirs of those who were killed in the militant camps inside Iran were present in Islamabad, then how can they be termed missing persons as Mahrang admitted that they were in Iran?" he questioned.
