Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khayal Ahmed Kastro, who is contesting elections for a seat in the Punjab Assembly, has been ‘picked up’ by plain-clothes men in Faisalabad.
According to a video shared by the PTI on its official X account, four men in plain clothes dragged Kastro into a white car and went away speedily. In a video, Kastro can be seen resisting, but the men in plain clothes managed to take him away in their car.
In a post shared on X, PTI said, “Our candidate for the PP seat, Khayal Ahmed Kastro, has been abducted by people without a uniform.”
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completely failed in its job to ensure a free and fair election, it added.
