He expressed these views while addressing the Rahmatul lil Aalameen Conference in Islamabad on Tuesday to mark Eid Miladun Nabi. Khan also spoke about the importanace of merit and supremacy of law in the country.
“The state of Medina followed justice and merit, and even a general was promoted based on performance,” he said.
The PM added that the nation can rise to glory if we begin following the guiding principles of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Khan also criticised the opposition leaders during his speech. He said the Sharif family submitted fake documents to the country’s apex court and use the infamous 'Qatari letter' to their defence in the Panama Leaks case.
Further, the PM said that if the Panama case had been heard in a British court, the Sharif family would have been jailed immediately. He added that this is due to the difference between Pakistan's justice system and that of the West.
