8 Year Old Boy Dies After Being Raped And Thrown From Roof Of Building By Religious Teacher

In Raiwind, an 8 year old child was sleeping in a room when he was raped in his hostel by his teacher Qari Rizwan. Upon resisting, Qari Rizwan subjected the child to torture, fracturing his arm and then throwing him off the rooftop of the building, according to the FIR.

Consequently, the boy suffered from multiple critical head injuries and bone fractures. He struggled for ten days before his body finally gave up. Qari Rizwan has been arrested and is in police custody.

As per a report, the registered FIR includes sections of the Penal Code including those pertaining to murder to ensure a strict punishment.

The Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has also taken notice of the issue.
