Amitabh Bachchan has appeared in almost 200 films, including numerous classics. The 81-year-old icon has a large international fan base.
The 45th edition of the prestigious Festival des 3 Continents, which will take place in Nantes, France, from November 24 to December 3, 2023, will feature a retrospective titled Amitabh Bachchan, Big B Forever. The retrospective will feature Abhimaan, Sholay, Deewaar, Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Trishul, Don, and Kaala Patthar, among other great flicks by the living icon.
Shweta Bachchan, the famous film actor's daughter, will go to Nantes on her father's behalf to attend the festival.
"The Film Heritage Foundation's initiative to bring classic Indian films back on the big screen in India has been truly remarkable," Amitabh stated in a statement. "I am overjoyed to learn that they will co-present a collection of nine of my early works at one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals, the Festival des 3 Continents in Nantes, especially as it concentrates on African, Latin American, and Asian cinema," he added.
