At least 390 Palestinians have been killed and 734 have been injured in the last 48 hours while communications have been halted, reported Al Jazeera, citing the Gaza Ministry of Health.

After another Israeli bombardment of the southern city of Rafah, Gaza's civil defense professionals and civilian volunteers worked through the night to retrieve remains and search for survivors.

According to a post on the Palestinian civil defense's Facebook page, which was confirmed by Al Jazeera's fact-checking section, in Sanad, Israeli troops hit the Dhair family's residence northwest of Rafah, as well as the Kurdish family's residence in Rafah's Yabna refugee camp.

According to the Facebook post, "Civil defense teams recovered several bodies and rescued several injured people after Israeli occupation forces targeted the Dhair family's home northwest of Rafah." Several people were also rescued from the ruins of a Kurdish family's home in the Yabna refugee camp."

According to the BBC, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday that the conflict in Gaza would not end until Israel accomplished all of its objectives.

"The choice I propose to Hamas is very simple: surrender or die," he said. "They don't have—and won't have—any other option. And after Hamas is defeated, I will do all in my power to guarantee that Gaza—neither Hamas nor Fatahstan—never again threatens Israel."
