It is said that an area of low-pressure forms in the Arabian Sea.
The developing meteorological phenomenon, which is situated far from Pakistan's coastal regions, is predicted by PMD forecasts to become a cyclonic storm in the following 24 hours.
As of right now, the low-pressure system is located around 1,810 kilometers away from Karachi, suggesting that cyclonic activity might occur there.
A further meteorological disturbance has been detected around 1,750 kilometers south of Gwadar, emphasizing the necessity for alertness in the impacted regions.
A low-pressure system may intensify into a depression, which is a prelude to a cyclone, according to PMD.
The way the depression is moving indicates that it will eventually approach Oman and intensify into a cyclone.
Residents living along Pakistan's coastline should take some comfort in the knowledge that this weather system is not likely to directly hit any of the country's coastal areas, according to PMD.
