Pakistan is introducing a sophisticated internet surveillance system to tighten its control over online activity. As reported by Al Jazeera, this technology, developed in collaboration with China and labeled a "national firewall" by officials, is designed to grant authorities extensive oversight of digital interactions. Combining advanced hardware and software, such systems act as digital gatekeepers, regulating the flow of data and determining access permissions.
